The YMCA of Metropolitan Washington operates traditional and specialty day camps across multiple locations in the DC area, offering activities in sports, arts, STEM, and adventure during the summer.
The YMCA runs day camps at numerous branches throughout the Washington, DC metropolitan area, including Arlington, Alexandria, Bethesda-Chevy Chase, Prince George's County, Loudoun County, Silver Spring, Fairfax County, and other locations. Traditional day camps provide balanced programming with arts and crafts, swimming, sports, and team-building activities. Specialty camps focus on particular interests including basketball, soccer, tennis, gymnastics, painting, drawing, theater, dance, robotics, coding, and science experiments. All camps are designed to be inclusive, with instruction tailored to various skill levels. The camps operate throughout the summer with registration opening in advance of the season.
