A summer day camp for ages 3-15 offering adventure activities, aquatics, creative arts, and sports across four two-week sessions from late June through August, with extended care available. Also runs: YMCA at Glen Cove Holiday Camp.
YMCA at Glen Cove Summer Day Camp provides children ages 3-15 with daily programs featuring adventure, aquatics, creative arts, camp traditions, and special activities in a safe, welcoming environment. The camp offers age-grouped programs including Kiddie Camp, Youth Camp (grades 1-4), Pre-Teen and Teen Camp, and Sports Camp, along with a Counselor in Training program. Four regular sessions run from June 28 through August 20, 2027, with a bonus week for K-5th graders August 23-27. Standard hours are 9am-4pm, with optional extended care from 7am-9am and 4pm-6pm. The camp emphasizes leadership skills, self-confidence, creativity, independence, and teamwork through group activities and camp traditions.
