A biweekly day camp offering hands-on STEM and robotics instruction with themed weeks covering coding, forensic science, renewable energy, drones, robotics, and makerspace projects. Each session includes field trips to museums and STEM institutions.
WOW Science Summer Camp runs four biweekly sessions in summer 2026, with K-8 campers choosing from multiple themed tracks each week. June 15-26 features 'Beneath Earth's Surface' (rocks, minerals, fossils) and 'Code Your Adventure' (hands-on coding and game design). June 29-July 10 offers 'Crime Detector' (forensic science) and 'Programmable Speed Bots' (robot coding races). July 13-24 includes 'Renewable Energy' (solar, wind, water, geothermal experiments), 'Drone' exploration (grades 5-9), and 'Makerspace' (solar vehicles, bridges, recycled inventions) for grades K-4. July 27-August 7 focuses on 'Move Me!' physics and 'Robotics' with LEGO and non-LEGO construction. All sessions run 9am-4pm and include weekly field trips to the Franklin Institute, Franklin Mineral Museum, International Spy Museum, and other STEM venues.
