Work to Ride offers week-long summer camps at Chamounix Equestrian Center for horse-loving children ages 5–13, featuring daily horseback riding instruction, equine care and education, barn chores, arts and crafts, and nature walks in Fairmount Park.
Work to Ride runs eight one-week summer camp sessions for children ages 8–13 and a specialty camp for ages 5–7, each with a maximum of 20 campers per week. Daily activities run 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and include riding twice a day, horse care education, animal husbandry and barn management training, arts and crafts, outdoor games, and exploration of Fairmount Park. Campers are grouped by riding ability and rotate through different stations with the same counselor throughout the week. The camp also offers a Polo Camp for ages 8 and up, with separate morning and afternoon sessions for different skill levels. All activities continue rain or shine, with indoor activities during inclement weather.
