Wondercamp is a 15-week summer day camp in the Baltimore area where children explore a new theme each week through hands-on, project-based activities, outdoor play, STEAM learning, and both virtual and in-house field trips.
Young School's Wondercamp offers a full-day summer experience tailored to each child's age, with weekly rotating themes including botany, legends and storytelling, color and design, game creation, music, science experiments, water exploration, sports, art, construction, animals, space, nature, and environmental stewardship. The program features Reggio-inspired learning in a materials-rich environment, outdoor playtime, a Water Play Zone, and the Grow Fit wellness program emphasizing physical activity and healthy habits. Parents can monitor their child's day through SproutAbout, the school's family communication app with live streaming video.
