Wonder Academy offers a summer day camp in Ridgewood combining academic reinforcement, coding, STEM exploration, and Korean language instruction. Small groups work through hands-on projects in math, reading, writing, science, and programming, with activities like recipe creation, podcast production, and experiments.
Wonder Academy's Summer 2024 camp includes an Academic Pod where students prepare for the new school year by strengthening math concepts and improving reading and writing skills through engaging projects such as creating their own recipes for math and publishing a podcast for writing. The Coding track uses Scratch, a visual block-based programming platform, for mini projects. The STEM program explores science topics through hands-on learning and the scientific method to complete experiments and projects while learning teamwork. Korean language instruction welcomes all levels and uses games and activities. Small groups are limited to four students per pod, with placement according to students' upcoming grade level.
