A week-long summer music camp in Brooklyn for children ages 6-10 that combines instrument exploration, songwriting, games, and outdoor time. Students learn music together in small classes, perform at week's end, and participate in daily park visits.
Williamsburg Music Studio runs Jam Band 101, a summer music camp where children ages 6-10 explore different band instruments while learning music through games, creative listening, and movement. The camp meets 9am-3:30pm with optional aftercare until 6pm, includes daily outdoor time at nearby Domino Sugar Park, incorporates musical games and creative songwriting, and concludes with a performance. Classes are kept small to ensure individual attention, and lunch/snack breaks are provided. The camp runs for one week at a time during July.
