Wheelock Family Theatre Summer Camp

Wheelock Family Theatre's summer programs invite children to create, imagine, and perform through hands-on theatre experiences. The summer is divided into sessions: Overture is a one-week circus arts partnership program; Act One offers one- to three-week immersive theatre experiences in acting, musical theatre, design, and performance; Entr'acte is a one-week specialty workshop session; and Act Two continues with another three-week session. Production intensives let students spend two or three weeks rehearsing and performing fully staged productions. All programs are led by professional artists and organized by grade level, with daily warm-ups, classes, rehearsals, collaborative projects, and informal performance sharings that celebrate learning and growth. The theatre emphasizes process-based learning, community building, and inclusive access to theatre arts.
