The Wheaton Park District runs a variety of summer camps for children of different interests and abilities, including adventure camps, sports camps, animal camps, nature camps, computer camps, and arts camps, with sessions throughout the summer.
Wheaton Park District offers summer camps for the adventure-seeker, animal-lover, athlete, naturalist, scientist, artist, and more. The Spring Program Guide and Summer Camp Organizer are available in late January, with registration opening in mid-February for residents. Camps include options such as Camp No Name, Camp I Don't Know, Camp Goodtimes, Camp Illini, Mean Camp Green, and Awesome August, many of which feature pool activities with color-coded wristbands assigned by aquatic skill level. The district also runs specialized camps through Cosley Zoo, Lincoln Marsh Nature & Adventure, and museum programs.
