A summer track and field programme for children ages 4–14 meeting twice weekly at Weymouth High School's Ed Meehan Track, offering instruction in running, jumping, and throwing for beginners through experienced athletes.
Weymouth Youth Track Club is an established youth track and field programme in its 19th year. Children ages 4–14 attend practice sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 to 7:30 PM at the Ed Meehan Track facility at Weymouth High School. The programme introduces children to track and field or continues their development in the sport, with coaching from Weymouth Middle School and High School track staff as well as student-coaches. The summer season runs from late June through July, with meet dates scheduled throughout and culminating in a mock meet and pizza party.
