West Side Nursery School offers two types of themed summer day camps for preschoolers ages 2.5–6 in Ridgewood. Summer Fun Camp features weekly themes with indoor and outdoor activities, art, sports, water play, games, and music, while Explore the Arts Camp focuses on art, drama, and singing with Friday family performances.
West Side Nursery School runs summer camps designed to introduce preschoolers to a fun camp experience. Summer Fun Camp is a traditional day camp with different themes each week, including activities both indoors in air-conditioned classrooms and outdoors on a half-acre playground, with water play before pickup. Explore the Arts Camp is geared toward children who love art, drama, and singing; students learn new songs, create art based on weekly themes, and perform shows for families every Friday at 12:30. Both camps run Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM and include time for children to enjoy nut-free lunch brought from home. Camps are open to all children, not just West Side students.
