A Spanish immersion day camp in Philadelphia where children ages 5-12 explore Latin American and Caribbean cultures through hands-on activities and creative projects, with weekly themes rotating through Mexico, the Caribbean, Central America, and more.
¡Viva Verano! runs a six-week Spanish immersion summer camp from June 15 to July 31. The program is designed for children ages 5-12 and builds confident, globally aware children by bringing the vibrant histories of Latin America and the Caribbean to life through authentic Spanish language instruction. Children explore the cultures through hands-on activities and creative projects, learning by doing rather than just listening. Each week focuses on a different region: Mexico, Caribbean Islands, Northern Central America, and Southern Central America. The program blends immersive learning, structured skill-building, and authentic cultural experiences so that every camper develops both linguistic ability and cultural confidence. Sessions run Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with extended care available from 3:00 to 5:30 PM. Weekly registration is available, allowing families to register for 1 week, 3 weeks, or the full summer.
