A week-long summer art camp for ages 8-16 combining multimedia studio projects in the mornings with pottery and wheel-throwing in the afternoons, held in a renovated historic barn at Tyler State Park in Richboro.
Tyler Park Center for the Arts runs individual art-intensive weeks where campers explore a different artistic focus each day in the mornings, then spend afternoons learning pottery techniques including wheel throwing, hand-building, and glazing at Earth Center Pottery. Four themed weeks are offered: Experimental Art Lab Week, Drawing & Sculpture Skills Week, Nature Makers Week, and Eco Art & Upcycling Week. Each week serves two groups of 10 campers from 9:30am to 3pm Monday through Friday, with a 30-minute lunch break. All materials are included in the weekly fee.
