A summer dance camp in Elgin offering classes in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, lyrical, and musical theater for ages 3 through adult. Sessions run from mid-June through late July with multiple class levels available throughout the week.
Turning Pointe Academy of Dance runs a summer program from June 8 through July 30, 2026, with no classes the week of June 22. The studio offers a wide range of dance styles including ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, contemporary, and musical theater dance, as well as yoga and conditioning classes. Classes are available for preschool through adult dancers at various skill levels, from pre-ballet for ages 3-5 through advanced techniques for older dancers. The studio also hosts Revolution, an audition-only dance company for intermediate to advanced dancers focusing on ballet, jazz, lyrical and contemporary styles with performances and competitions throughout the year.
