A full-day summer camp run by the Town of Oyster Bay for children ages 4-12, operating at five locations across Nassau County from late June through early August. The program includes swimming, water activities, field games, day trips, and special events.
The Town of Oyster Bay Summer Recreation Program runs as a full-day program from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, from June 29 through August 7, 2026. Open to children ages 4-12, the program operates at five different park locations: Ellsworth W. Allen Park in Farmingdale, Marjorie R. Post Community Park in Massapequa, Plainview Old Bethpage Community Park in Plainview, Syosset Woodbury Community Park in Woodbury, and Harry Tappen Beach & Park in Glenwood Landing. Each location offers supervised lunch hours and most feature swimming; Allen Park offers daily water activities instead. Special programming includes food days, optional day trips, in-park events, library time, islanders fan fest, TOBAY Games field competitions, supervisor's championships, teddy bear clinic instruction in first aid, and carnival day. Cost is $800 per child for the full session.
