The Theatre Lab's summer youth and teen programs serve over 550 young people annually across the Washington metropolitan area. Summer camps for grades 1-8 are organized by grade level to ensure developmentally appropriate curriculum and peer socialization, with small class sizes and narrow age ranges. Teen Training Institutes for ages 13-19 provide intensive training with a focus on developing artistry through challenging coursework and public performances. The organization has been recognized by The President's Committee on the Arts and Humanities as one of the top 50 arts-based youth programs in the country. All participants bring their own lunch, and the organization provides morning snacks. The Theatre Lab is committed to accessibility and learning accommodations upon request.
