The Southport School's summer program provides evidence-based academic support for students entering grades 1–9, using specialized teaching methods including Orton-Gillingham and executive function training in a supportive learning environment.
The Southport School Summer Academic Program offers individualized, grade-appropriate, research-backed academic support for public and private school students entering grades 1–9 who are not achieving their full potential or have language-based learning differences or ADHD. The program is taught by The Southport School's expert teaching staff using specialized approaches including the Orton-Gillingham Approach, Lindamood-Bell's Visualizing & Verbalizing, The Southport CoLAB's Executive Function Blueprint, The Writing Revolution, and assistive technology.
