A full-day summer camp in Mount Rainier, Maryland for ages 3–8 featuring Spanish and Mandarin language immersion combined with structured academics, art, music, outdoor activities, and themed weekly field trips throughout the Washington DC area.
The Socratic School of Language offers academically structured summer camps from mid-June through early September with full immersion in Spanish or Mandarin. Children are grouped by age (3–5 and 6–8) and experience weekly themes such as folktales, culinary journeys, world art, music and dance, science, and global sports. Each week includes at least one field trip aligned to the theme. The program features outdoor recess, structured conversation, stories, songs, art, movement, and carefully guided routines designed to build vocabulary, discipline, confidence, and cultural understanding. Optional early arrival is available starting at 8:00 AM.
