A week-long music immersion camp in Ashburn and Sterling for students new to piano, where children learn to read music and develop foundational piano skills through group instruction in a fun, supportive environment.
The Piano Express runs summer music camps designed for beginning piano students at two locations: Ashburn and Sterling, Virginia. The camp meets daily from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, Monday through Friday, for one-week sessions. Using the studio's signature MIDI-based learning platform, students learn to read music in an immersion-based environment, which the camp describes as the most effective approach to music literacy. Teachers provide personalized attention while students work at their own pace on digital pianos. The camp combines music fundamentals with an emphasis on making learning enjoyable, and many campers continue with private piano lessons afterward.
