A summer program for students with special needs including autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disabilities, emotional challenges, and ADHD. Students participate in clubs, outdoor activities, field trips, drama, sports, and life skills development throughout the summer.
The Pathway School's Extended School Year (ESY) Program runs during summer and offers students with special needs a mix of academics and enrichment. Activities include drama club performances, art, horticulture, STEM, physical fitness clubs, swimming, biking, field trips to pools and local attractions like Elmwood Park Zoo, and gaming activities. The program emphasizes building social, physical, communication, and life skills alongside classroom skill practice.
