A cooking and crafting day camp in Emerson, New Jersey offering two age-based sessions: Kids Camp for kindergarten through fourth grade and Tween/Teen Camp for fifth through ninth grade. Each week features different seasonal and multicultural recipes and coordinating crafts, with creations sent home daily.
The Crafty Kitchen runs summer day camps emphasizing hands-on learning through food and art. Kids Camp (grades K-4) prepares tasty seasonal and multicultural recipes with daily themes like Breakfast for Lunch, Everybody's Birthday, and Campfire Cooking, plus coordinating crafts. Tween/Teen Camp (grades 5-9) features more complex, culturally diverse cuisine with themes including Beautiful Breads, Italian with A Twist, and Amazing Asian. Both programs mix sweet and savory recipes, send creations home daily, and email recipes at week's end. Classes are small (8-10 campers) to ensure comfort and safety. Sibling and group discounts are available.
