The Coder School Syosset Summer Camps

The Coder School Syosset offers a range of summer camps designed to teach coding and computer science to children. Each camp runs for a full week, usually from mid-morning to early afternoon, with some half-day options available. Camps include Game Development using Scratch, where kids build playable games; Digital Art and Animation using MIT's Scratch to create animated stories; Minecraft and Roblox camps where children code within game environments; BattleBots Academy for building and battling robots; and specialized camps like Python Startup, WebRox for website building, and Rise of the Machines for AI fundamentals. All camps maintain a low instructor-to-student ratio of approximately 6:1 and are taught by Code Coaches who have completed the school's training. Students take regular breaks including outdoor time and conclude each week by demonstrating their projects to showcase their learning and critical thinking skills.
