Teen Shakespeare Conservatory Summer Intensive

The Teen Shakespeare Conservatory combines physical theatre, movement training, and character development acting methods with classical Shakespearean language to provide young actors with the fundamentals required in the professional acting arena and higher education conservatories. The three-week summer intensive runs July 6-24 and includes daily training in Williamson Physical Technique, Elizabethan period style, Shakespearean text and monologues, Linklater voice technique, Michael Chekhov technique, viewpoints, mask work, mime, pantomime, Elizabethan dance, clown work, Commedia del Arte, and RasaBoxes. Students train with master teachers and guest artists in the heart of New York City's theater district. NYC dorm housing is available.
