A five-day summer photography camp for teens 14 and up in Cambridge, where students learn digital street photography and portraiture while exploring Boston with instructor Mark Ostow and his team.
Teen Photo Workshops runs two five-day sessions each summer (June and July) in Mark Ostow's studio in Central Square, Cambridge. Classes meet Monday through Friday, 9am to 3pm, with a maximum of 15 students per session. Students learn digital street photography and portraiture techniques while exploring the city, trying different cuisines during lunch breaks, and developing their visual skills through hands-on experience rather than rigid curriculum. The program welcomes teens with no prior photography experience as long as they are interested and willing to engage with the city and other participants. Class includes co-teacher Marissa Fiorucci and interns.
