A full-day summer camp for ages 5–13 in lower Manhattan where children learn Paul Taylor modern dance, ballet, and tumbling while creating original choreography and performing at the end of each week.
Taylor Summer Dance Camp offers five weeks of full-day programming each summer at Taylor Dance East. Children ages 5–13 are grouped by age and level, learning the fundamentals of Taylor modern dance, ballet, and tumbling in a nurturing environment. Throughout each week, campers collaborate with peers, explore Paul Taylor's repertory, use it as creative inspiration to build original dances, sets and costumes, and culminate each week with a studio performance for family and friends. Single and multi-week registration options are available. No prior dance experience is necessary.
