Week-long day camps for ages 6-12 featuring Swedish culture through arts and crafts, science, music, dance, traditional foods, and Swedish language instruction. Themed sessions include Midsommar Camp exploring Swedish art history and Sommarläger featuring Swedish and Finnish children's literature.
Swedish American Museum offers summer camps where children experience Swedish culture and traditions. Activities include arts and crafts, science experiments, music and dancing, folk dancing, trying traditional Swedish foods, learning Swedish language, and exploring themes like Viking history and Swedish design. Camp days run 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Children ages 6-12 are welcome. The museum offers scholarships based on financial need, and advanced registration is required.
