A five-day summer surf camp on Long Island where children and adults learn to surf with professional instructors, focusing entirely on water time with ocean safety, technique drills, and wave riding rather than beach activities. Surf 2 Live runs a 5-day summer surf camp from 9am to 1pm Monday through Friday at Long Beach. The camp teaches surfing fundamentals including ocean safety, currents, the pop-up technique, and wave-catching instruction with professional and master-level instructors in the water. Campers learn to ride waves on their first day. The school is parent-owned and caters to beginners, intermediate, and experienced surfers of all ages. All lessons include surfboard, wetsuit, and rash guard; beach admission fees are additional.
