A summer day camp for infants through preschool-age children at JCYS Buffalo Grove offering arts and crafts, music, sports, water play, theme weeks, and weekly Shabbat celebrations. Campers use the facility's full indoor gym, dance room, and outdoor playgrounds. Also runs: Lil' North Suburban Day Camp.
Sunflower Camp serves infants through 3-year-olds during summer (June–August) with half-day and full-day options. Campers enjoy daily themed activities, weekly in-house field trips (past visitors include The Storybook Bus, magicians, and storytellers), and five rotating special activities each day: art, science, music/games, drama/storytelling, and sprinkler play. All campers participate in Friday Shabbat celebrations. Staff include school-year preschool teachers, ensuring continuity for returning children. Meals include fresh, locally-sourced food made in-house, with organic milk served to all campers.
