A one-week intensive violin camp for young musicians ages 8–17 studying Suzuki book 2 or above. Led by master violinist Andrew Williams and guest artists including Phoenix Symphony members, the camp covers classical and contemporary violin styles, ensemble playing, and performance masterclasses.
Violin Vibes is a week-long summer workshop designed to advance violinists through a combination of scales and warm-ups, fiddle and rock covers, solo performance practice, masterclasses, and music theory. The camp explores diverse applications of the violin from classical to fiddle to rock music. Students participate in group lessons, individual performance classes, and learn from accomplished guest artists and faculty. Daily sessions run from 8:45 a.m. to 1 p.m., with lunch and snack time for students to bring their own food. The camp accommodates 8–10 students per session.
