Educational Alliance's Summer Rising programs provide free summer enrichment for children across Lower Manhattan, combining morning academic instruction in reading and math with afternoon hands-on activities including science, arts, dance, field trips, and swimming.
Summer Rising creates an environment where children continue learning while experiencing the joy of summer. Each morning begins with academic work in reading and math to help students return to school in the fall ready to succeed. In the afternoons, campers dive into hands-on enrichment activities that awaken curiosity, from building solar-powered cars in science electives to arts and crafts, dance classes, field trips to places like the Bronx Zoo, and swimming programs.
