An intensive three-week summer camp for middle school girls combining classical Talmud study with camp activities like swimming, archery, and arts at a lakeside location in Northern New Jersey. Also runs: Dr. Beth Samuels Summer High School Program for Girls.
Drisha's Summer Middle School Program brings together girls from across the world for immersive study of Jewish texts. The program emphasizes yeshiva-style Talmud study in chavruta (study pairs) during morning sessions, with afternoons featuring hands-on Halacha learning, creative arts projects, and traditional camp activities including swimming, archery, kickball, ropes course, and field trips. Students experience daily prayer, Shabbat observance, and evening social activities. The faculty guides students in reading, analyzing, and discussing classical Jewish texts in their original languages, connecting ancient wisdom to contemporary life.
