A 9-week Montessori-based day camp in Center City Philadelphia for toddlers and primary-aged children, featuring themed sessions focused on nature, music, food, science and color, with activities including art, gymnastics, soccer, and water play on a rooftop playdeck.
Greene Towne's summer day camp runs from mid-June through mid-August for children ages 18 months to 6 years. The camp maintains the Montessori approach while adding seasonal activities and special guests. Each two-week session centers on a theme—such as nature, music, food, science, or color—and includes visits from Mad Science, gymnastics instruction from National Kids Gym, and soccer coaching. Children enjoy art projects, water play on the school's 4,000-square-foot rooftop playdeck, recess, and rest time. The camp operates 8 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. daily (excluding Juneteenth) and families must register for a minimum of two weeks or the full summer.
