A day camp at Rye Nature Center offering nature exploration and outdoor education across three age groups from early June through August. Campers participate in hands-on activities including hiking, STEM projects, animal care, and environmental stewardship in a 47-acre forest. Also runs: Paddle Adventure Camp.
Summer Camp at Rye Nature Center provides day camp experiences grounded in outdoor learning and ecological exploration. The camp offers three age-based programs: Explorers (ages 3.5–K) with morning or afternoon half-day sessions, Discoverers (K–5th grade) with full-day programming, and Naturalists in Training (6th–7th grade) with extended Thursday sessions including cookouts. Each week features a different theme such as Forest Friends & Woodland Wonders, Bug Bonanza, Survival Skills, Water World Adventures, and Eco Explorers. Activities include hiking, nature and science activities, STEM projects, animal visits, sprinkler play, and environmental stewardship. The camp runs for eight weeks starting June 29 through August 21, 2026.
