A four-week summer day camp at Community Music Center of Boston where children ages 5–11 explore music and arts across different genres and instruments, with each week focused on a different musical pathway from exploration to performance.
Community Music Center of Boston's Summer Arts & Music Program runs four consecutive weeks in July, Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Each week connects to a different musical pathway: Musical Explorers (trying out a range of instruments), Community Musicians (making music with others), Citizen Musician (using music to express yourself and connect to the world), and Performing Musician (developing skills on your chosen instrument and performing in a concert). The program is led by world-class faculty and counselors from CMCB's Youth Employment Program. Campers can register for all four weeks or choose one or two weeks that fit their schedule. The center offers a sliding scale tuition program to ensure equitable access.
