See if kids you know are going to this camp.
A four-week summer program for middle and high school students who work with professional artists and NYC public school art teachers to develop artistic skills, experiment with new techniques, and explore their creative voices. Students visit cultural institutions including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, MoMA, and the Central Park Zoo.
The Summer Arts Institute (SAI) offers middle and high school students the opportunity to continue their artistic journeys beyond the regular school year. Over four weeks, students work alongside professional Studio Artist Instructors and NYC Public Schools Art teachers to strengthen their artistic skills, experiment with new techniques, and develop their own creative voices. Through hands-on studio experiences, students explore their interests and discover new ways to express themselves through art. Learning extends beyond the classroom with field trips to cultural institutions including the Central Park Zoo, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), encouraging students to look closely, draw from observation, and find inspiration in the world around them.
