A four-week summer program for high school students and recent graduates (ages 16-19) combining college-level figure drawing and painting instruction with artist lectures, museum visits, and portfolio development in Philadelphia's vibrant art community.
Studio Incamminati's Summer Pre-College Intensive focuses on figural realism and impressionistic color through five college-level studio art classes taught by working artists. Students develop foundational skills in classical figure drawing, painting, and anatomy while building portfolios for art school applications. The program runs June 22–July 17, Monday–Friday 9am–4pm, with Wednesdays split between studio classes and professional development including museum tours, open studio hours, and artist Q&A sessions. Supplies and field trips are included, and students earn a Certificate in Fundamentals of Figural Art.
