A flexible day camp in Manhattan where children ages 4-12 choose their own activities daily from options including coding, sewing, animation, robotics, baking, sports, and arts and crafts. The camp runs June through August with extended hours and included meals, letting families buy any number of days and drop off and pick up on their own schedule.
Steve & Kate's Camp on the Upper West Side operates as a choice-based day camp where children have agency in selecting which activities to pursue each day and with whom. Activities span media production (stop-motion animation, coding, robotics, virtual reality), traditional crafts (sewing, tinker lab, baking), sports and recreation, water play, and weekly special events. The camp runs from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, includes meals and snacks, and allows families flexible enrollment—purchasing days as needed with automatic refunds for unused days at summer's end. Daily field trips to Safari Playground West are part of the program.
