A summer day camp in Washington, DC where children ages 4-12 choose their own activities daily from options including coding, sewing, animation, robotics, baking, sports, water play, and arts and crafts, with flexible drop-off and pick-up throughout extended hours.
Steve & Kate's Camp - DC Northwest runs at Edmund Burke School in the Woodley Park neighborhood from mid-June through mid-August, with flexible daily attendance and extended hours from 8 AM to 6 PM. Children have autonomy to select from a wide range of rotating activities including stop-motion animation, sewing, coding, robotics, a bakery, tinker lab, sports and recreation, water play, and a game room. The camp emphasizes child-directed choice and independence, with meals and snacks included. Weekly specials rotate throughout the summer to add variety. The camp is closed on July 4th.
