A culinary arts program for youth and young adults ages 13-24 in the Proviso Township area that combines hands-on cooking training with leadership development, entrepreneurship skills, and workforce preparation in the food industry.
Smokehouse Academy, part of the Broadview Culinary Leadership Collective, offers youth and young adults hands-on culinary training alongside leadership development and career exploration. Participants learn culinary techniques, kitchen safety, food preparation, teamwork, and professionalism while building confidence and developing entrepreneurship skills for careers in the food industry. The program accepts applicants from Broadview, Bellwood, Maywood, Hillside, Westchester, and Park Forest.
