A one-week martial arts day camp for children ages 6–12 teaching Pencak Silat, an Indonesian martial art, with instruction from black belt instructors who have competed internationally. The camp includes technique training, games, team activities, and a final demonstration for parents.
Silat Summer Camp offers two one-week sessions (June 17–20 and June 24–27) for children ages 6–12. Participants learn Pencak Silat from accomplished black belt instructors with international competition experience. The daily schedule includes exercises, stretching, games, team activities, and technique training. Students are divided into age-appropriate groups (6–8 and 9–12) for some activities. The camp culminates in an end-of-camp presentation where students demonstrate techniques to their parents. Black belts earned during camp and uniforms are available as students progress and memorize the Silat creed. The program maintains a low instructor-to-student ratio and limits enrollment to 20 students per session.
