Shalom Day Camp is a premier orthodox Jewish day camp located in Brooklyn serving children during the summer. The camp features separate divisions for boys and girls and is housed in a newly renovated facility with a full indoor air-conditioned gym with NBA-sized basketball court, two heated outdoor swimming pools, and an outdoor playground. Each day begins with breakfast, davening, and a short Torah lesson from the camp rabbi. The camp provides hot lunch and snacks daily, with dairy meals meeting chalav yisrael standards and meat meals glatt kosher certified. Activities including art, dance, sports, and krav maga are led by professional instructors, with counselors assisting and supervising. The camp offers twice-weekly trips, an end-of-camp talent show, and carnival. Red Cross-certified lifeguards assess swimming abilities and maintain pool safety. Door-to-door transportation is available, and the camp accepts 1199 and MTA vouchers.
