A six-week residential summer program in Washington, DC for rising high school juniors and seniors featuring ethics and leadership curriculum, policy projects, and engagement with influential leaders and iconic sites.
Students live on Capitol Hill across from the Supreme Court and Capitol complex while completing SEGL's Ethics and Leadership curriculum. The program includes three capstone projects: an ethical Credo, a collaborative policy document, and a business plan for a social venture. Students present policy memos at the State Department, attend guest speaker events, and explore DC's cultural and governmental institutions. Nearly all evenings and weekends are homework-free, with faculty-led activities, field trips, and community-building experiences. Meals are provided three times daily with dietary accommodations.
