Sea Stars Marine Camp offers immersive week-long sessions packed with hands-on marine science activities and outdoor education. Campers observe and handle live marine animals and freshwater pond life at the Camp Center, take guided nature walks through Fuchs Pond Preserve to explore coastal woodlands, and visit Sunken Meadow State Park for seining and beach activities. The camp offers specialized sessions including Fishing Explorers (with a fishing expedition aboard a boat), Shark Week (with a trip to the Long Island Aquarium), and Nature Week (focused on identifying plant and bird life and understanding water quality). Sessions run 9 AM to 2 PM, with extended hours on trip days.
