A full-day summer camp for ages 3-8 at Sea Cliff Yacht Club's beachfront location, combining beach play, ecology exploration, arts and crafts, sports, music, and beginning sailing instruction in a small-group setting.
Sea Cliff Yacht Club's Summer Camp takes advantage of the club's beautiful beachfront setting on Long Island Sound. The program incorporates play, sports, relaxation and learning tailored to age groups for children ages 3-8. Activities include beach exploration, hands-on seashore ecology studies, indoor arts and crafts, sports and games, music and movement classes, storytime, nature studies, and on-shore beginning sailing instruction. Snacks and lunch are provided daily. The program is managed by a full-time elementary school teacher, with all instructors CPR and First-Aid certified, and maintains low counselor-to-child ratios in a small community setting.
