A summer program for elementary and middle school students in Long Island City featuring technology, design, science, and art, with weekly themes and small-group projects that students take home. Also runs: Sanidas Summer Head Start.
Sanidas Academy runs two summer programmes. The Summer Tech & Design Program builds each week around a theme, with students working in small groups on projects they take home including games they designed, things they built, and art they made. Summer Head Start runs 3:00–5:00 pm and covers math or English depending on the day, helping students close learning gaps from the past year and get ahead before September.
