An eight-week equestrian day camp running Tuesday through Friday mornings in July and August for children seven and up. Campers receive daily riding instruction, learn horsemanship and horse care, and participate in swimming, arts and crafts, and barn management activities.
Saddle River Equestrian offers eight consecutive summer camp sessions for children ages seven and up. Each day campers participate in one hour of riding instruction tailored to their ability level, progressing from basic flat-work to jumping as they develop skills. Beyond riding, the program emphasizes horsemanship and stable management, teaching proper handling, grooming, saddling, and equine anatomy. Campers also enjoy swimming with certified lifeguards, arts and crafts, and social activities including a pizza party each Friday. Sessions run Tuesday through Friday from 9am to 1pm, with no camp on Mondays. The facility accommodates both beginners and advanced riders, grouping campers by age and ability.
