A one-week ballet camp in August for young dancers aged 5 and up, with classes organized by age and skill level from beginner through advanced pointe. The program includes technique training and supplementary classes in pointe, variations, and contemporary dance.
Rye Ballet Conservatory's August Preseason runs August 10–27 with enrollment now open. Young Dancer classes (ages 5–6 and 7–9) meet twice during the week and serve as an introduction to the school and potential audition for the annual season. Junior Division (Monday–Thursday, 1.5 hours daily) is for Middle School Level 2A–2B dancers seeking to establish goals and reinforce training habits. Intermediate and Advanced levels meet four times weekly with 2.5-hour sessions combining 1.5 hours of technique with supplementary training in pointe, variations, character, contemporary, and conditioning. All August classes are held at the Chapel location.
