A five-day rock band music camp in Brooklyn where young musicians compose original songs, learn arrangement and lyric writing, and record their work using GarageBand, with a live performance at week's end.
Rock Bands for Kids runs week-long summer camp sessions at Battalion Studios, a professional rehearsal space in Gowanus, Brooklyn. Campers work together to compose original music, explore song arrangement and lyric writing, and learn performance techniques. The program includes opportunities to try new instruments and uses GarageBand for recording and music production. Each week concludes with recorded music and video performances documenting the campers' work.
