A competitive summer rowing program for athletes under 23 at Riverside Boat Club in Cambridge, running June through August with on-water coaching in sweep and sculling, culminating at the Royal Canadian Henley Regatta.
Riverside Boat Club's High Performance U23 Summer Program develops collegiate-level rowers under 23 through intensive training from June 8 to August 10, 2026. Athletes train Monday through Saturday with morning sessions (6:00-8:00 am) and optional evening sessions, focusing on on-water technical development, physical conditioning, and race preparation across multiple boat classes. The program includes two regattas (Cromwell Cup and Canadian Henley), access to the boathouse and weight facilities, coaching mentorship, and housing at away competitions. Both men's and women's squads accept up to 16 rowers and 2 coxswains, with recommended erg times for selection. The program emphasizes team culture and supporting athletes' rowing careers beyond college.
