Full-day music camps for ages 5–14 on school closure days throughout the year, where children participate in band-based activities, group instruction, musical games, and outdoor play, with all instruments provided.
Riverrock offers full-day camps (9 AM–3 PM) on days when local public schools are closed, including Superintendent Day, Veterans Day, MLK Jr. Day, winter break, spring break, Eid-al-Fitr, and Juneteenth. Campers ages 8 and up are placed in bands based on experience level, learning pop and rock instruments including electric guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, and voice. Younger campers engage in a mix of band activities, group instrument instruction, musical games, and crafts. Weather permitting, the group walks to nearby VE Macy County Park for outdoor games. All instruments are provided by the school, and campers bring their own lunch and snacks (nut-free). Fridays of week-long camps include a recorded performance for families.
